75 Lb. Masonry / Mortar Cement - Portland, Lime

Hydraulic Cement consisting of a mixture of Portland cement and lime. Bonds units together in an integral structural assembly, seals joints against penetration by air and moisture, accommodates small movements within a wall, accommodates slight difference between unit sizes, and bonds to joint reinforcement, ties and anchors so that all elements perform as an assembly.

Certification:Conforms to ASTM C91.

Will make ASTM C270 mortar for unit masonry when properly mixed with mason's sand conforming with ASTM C144 and tested in full accordance with all the applicable provisions of ASTM C270.

Blends white Portland cement with finely ground white limestone, combined with process additions that enhance water retention, workability, boardlife, and durability.For use in masonry mortar and stucco mixtures where a white or bright colored mortar joint or stucco is desired.

Hydraulic Cement, one of the main constituents of mortar.

To mix CONCRETE 1 : 2 : 3 parts by dry volume.
That is: one part Portland cement, two parts sand, and three parts coarse aggregate

To mix MORTAR, use the following parts by Volume

White Portland Cement - Portland ONLY

Applicable Standards: Lafarge Trinity White Portland cement meets and exceeds the applicable standards of ASTM C 150, Standard Specification for Portland Cement and AASHTO M 85.
